I can’t recommend Geoff enough. He DJ’d for my 30th birthday party and not only kept the dancefloor full from 7pm all the way to 1.30am, his amazing sense of humour and quality photography made it truly a night to remember. Sooo many people have commented since on how good he was! I wouldn’t use anyone else. Thank you so much Geoff, you are the best!!

What an amazing disco you gave our children tonight Geoff!
I have never seen the kids dancing and enjoying themselves sooooo much at our disco’s! You had them all dancing out of the palm of your hand. Just giving you the heads up we are looking at the 9th February potentially for our next Valentine Disco, and can I just add that on our Hockey Primary School FB page the positive comments on tonight’s disco and new DJ are going crazy!

I booked Geoff as he was recommended by my friend, her daughter and my daughter. He was the DJ at my friends daughters party and the only party where teenagers were dancing.
Geoff was professional, friendly, helpful and nothing was too much problem from start to finish. We gave him a massive list of songs and he managed to play most of them. The dance floor was full from 8-midnight. He done all the music for my wedding ceremony from start to finish. His photos were great and we received them very quickly. There were loads of them, over 1,000 I think but that didn't hinder the DJ skills. He got everyone in an arch at the end of the night for us to go through and a circle for us to go and say goodbye to everyone.
Two ex dj's were in my wedding party and they also agreed Geoff was brilliant. A lovely man, a fantastic Dj, a great photographer and very professional. I would definitely recommend Geoff Grove. Thank you so much for making our day.

Hi Geoff,
As with the Hen Night photos, you did an amazing job at the wedding and we're really pleased with the pictures. You always manage to capture the fun and natural side of the occasion which to us are far more precious than just posed pictures. Geoff was a great DJ at our wedding in July 2016.
He kept us dancing on the dance floor and even let us have a couple of tries at singing along on the microphone (possibly not so great for all the guests!) He also took photos throughout the evening and when we received the memory stick we could not stop smiling at the shots he had captured! Thanks Geoff!

It’s been a couple of weeks, but just wanted to write and say thank you for being part of our wedding, it was perfect. Everyone really enjoyed the music, it was exactly what we wanted- a lot of the guests have told me it is the best wedding they have been to and I am sure you played a big part in that.

I had such a brilliant night and all my friends and family agreed you were amazing. You kept everyone entertained playing music from my extensive playlist, especially the hits from the 80's. I was so thankful that you also took a great selection of photos and was amazed that you immediately saved them to a memory stick and delivered it to me the following day. The photos are fantastic!!! You captured everything!!!
Not only did you take care of the music and photographs you also very kindly helped us take the balloons, cakes and presents home.

Geoff was recommended to me by a friend as I was nervous of not finding a DJ who would suit all tastes at my wedding reception.We had an absolutely amazing night at our Wedding Reception at Sands Restaurant Southend.
Following my party I cannot speak more highly of Geoff. Right from the start he played the perfect music for everyone and was super friendly and professional.
Nothing was too much trouble and I had a packed dance floor right til the end and no one wanted it to stop. Hire Geoff! You will not be disappointed!!

Geoff was a great DJ for our wedding and rounded off a great day with a mix of all our favourite requests as well as some old classics which ensured that the dance floor was packed all night with something for everyone’s taste.
Geoff also offered to take photos for the evening as well and this was another excellent element of the service on offer ensuring we captured all the fun and laughter right up until the end of the night.

Tom and I knew exactly what we wanted from our wedding DJ - a full dance floor and tracks to take us all down memory lane.
We were sure we would have time to write a playlist, dictate exactly what we wanted...wow were we wrong, the night before the wedding we emailed Geoff a 4 line guide to what we wanted, and it was probably the best thing we could have done.
Geoff was amazing, we had background music for the wedding breakfast and then the full works in the evening. Geoff moved his set up from one room to another as the breakfast was in the restaurant separate to where the dancing was to take place.
We really couldn't have asked for more from the music, even replaying the brides favourite track on demand as she had missed it the first time round! Geoff also took some photos for us and one of them just so happens to be our favourite one so far. If we need a DJ we wouldn't go anywhere else.

Yet another fantastic night of dancing! I've not been to Marcos Bar in Rayleigh Essex before but seeing as u were playing I invited a few friends to come with me and give it a go.
We were not disappointed , u played "Tune" after "Tune" up to date, soul, house. We all had a great time and will be going back when your next there. You always give 100% play our requests and get right into the party atmosphere.
You truly are the very best Dj in Essex. I will always recommend you with confidence.

It has been nearly 5 months since we got married and even now we keep looking back and reflecting on how perfect it was.
We had the perfect venue, perfect flowers and importantly a perfect dj! I cant say how much i worried about getting the perfect DJ for us, especially after a bad experience at my 18th birthday with another DJ.
We came across Geoff online and what first interested us was how friendly and relaxed he looked when working in his pictures. Then after reading his profile his character definitely fitted his image.
On the run up to the big day Geoff asked us on any specific music we would like played and discussed with us when he will arrive and what will happen. We felt very relaxed and trusted Geoff.
When the big day arrived the day went beautifully and soon the evening guests were arriving. The DJ equipment was all set up in the morning so Geoff was ready right on time to party!
The music choice was perfect for what we wanted. Guests were on the dance floor from start to finish, even pass when we left for our hotel! Geoff wasn't just a DJ for us though, he was also taking pictures after our photographer had left. Its so great to have some party pictures of my guests and ourselves too! We had never come across a DJ who actually gets out onto the dance floor and dance with you too!
All in all, Geoff really did go above and beyond our expectations and we are so glad we chose him. Thank you so much for ending our special day with a good party!

We hired Geoff Grove has our DJ for our wedding on 10th August 2013 at The Orsett Hall Hotel.. And what a fab night it was. The music was just great. All our guest were up on that dance floor and Geoff played an excellent selection of music which was for everybody to enjoy.
Our guest commented on how good he was and not only for his music but as a person as well!

All the kids had a great time and so did us parents. A few of his friends stayed over so I have cooked about 4 pounds of bacon and done twenty loaves of bread. A party is only as good as the DJ and last night was a cracker.

We booked Geoff for our joint 40th's and 10th wedding anniversary and have to say the feedback we received both on the night and after the event was terrific.
We love the soul of the 80's but remember visiting various clubs throughout the 90's so we asked Geoff for a solid 90's set with 80's and current sounds dotted either side and have to say he didn't let us down!
The floor was filled and was great to hear so many friends say "wow, I haven't heard that for years, what a tune"!!

Just wanted to reiterate my thanks again for your excellent DJ'ing skills Saturday night at Clarice House!
My feet yesterday bore witness to the fact I was on the dance floor for about 3 hours non-stop; they were v sore! I really enjoyed myself & had loads of texts from friends yesterday saying what a great night; vast quantities of fizz & beer helps but it's the music that gets toes tapping & flab moving!

Thanks for a truly wonderful night, the music you played at pauls 50th party was brilliant we had ages here from 16 to 80 and everyone loved it.

"I got married in May and was lucky enough to have Geoff DJ. The dancefloor was packed from start to finish and I had so many people, young and old, tell me over the coming weeks how brilliant the music had been. Other DJs try and inflict their tastes on you and only play what's in the charts - Geoff was happy to play a set list based entirely around my tastes (which aren't the standard wedding playlist at all) and that made the night the best I've ever had. Hockley Soul Night: "Geoff, I was working behind the bar on Saturday night at the Hockley Community Centre. I have always had a love for the soul, jazz funk music of the 70's and 80's. I have never been able to get hold of tickets for Lyndon's soul nights and as a regular of the community centre I thought what better way to attend but to offer to work as their potman.On checking your website I found you come from Rayleigh as I do and attended Fitzwimarc school. In fact I think you was in the same year as my youngest brother Michael Scudder. On further reading I found that you used to purchase your records from the same shop as me Record Man on The Chase.
I just wanted to say what a great gig bringing back memories of my days at the Zero Six & reading Blues & Soul magazine. Hopefully the next time you play Hockley I can again be working and listen to those great sounds".
